Those who urge a reset with EU forget to mention entering into even more eco regulatory madness. Net zero targets on steroids. Thanks to @James7Holland for exposing the murky, undemocratic environmental capture of Brussels by US green NGOs.

MCC Brussels @MCC_Brussels

Europe has become the climate lobby’s laboratory.

@James7Holland says US backed foundations helped turn Brussels into a Petri dish for costly green policies, creating the illusion of consensus while businesses close and Europeans pay the price.

@Fox_Claire All comms from public bodies - be it the govt, police, NHS etc - is based on the core assertion that their official statements are the only source of accurate information & the public must trust them.

This rarely survives contact with reality.

Again, incomprehensible to me that they are allowed to send out public consultations where you are essentially forced to agree with the proposed policy. It's antidemocratic, and it would be a great political decision to make it outright illegal
